OS:MAN
with SIDESHOW & ETHICS
Joining OS:MAN LIVE from the studio we have SIDESHOW, the owner of up-and-coming Jungle label BASICS RECORDS - who have some strong releases out already on vinyl from the likes of Fendi-K, Kazza, Nice Trick, Fez the Kid & Tim Clay. OS:MAN & Sideshow will hop on a power hour B2B for the first time ever, hosted live by Basics regular MC - Ethics. Always a strong sonic clash when two label owners share the stage, this will be no different! SIDESHOW: “To talk about my record label, Basics Records is just me. It’s my outlet. It’s so special to me to be able to put out good music on physical format and connect with people from all over the world it gives me a great feeling of well being and love in my heart. I’m obsessed with music and it has helped me in so many ways. It’s also lovely putting it all together doing all the artwork, videos etc myself and even having my old man mastering all the tracks (Zyklus). The label focuses on a raw stripped back sound and takes many influences from genres that I love such right from dub up to funk soul and disco which takes up a loads of my collection”.
