The understated and often silent member of the UVB-76 family, Karim Maas has been an integral figure in crafting what has become known as the UVB-76 sound. A master of tension, Karim Maas was not only one part of the Ruffhouse three; alongside Pessimist & Vega but he's also made a name for himself outside of the realms of Drum & Bass, primarily in the sphere of Drone and general Experimental Electronic music.

No-one quite creates the angsty moods yet displays such depth and thought, both conceptually and sonically as Cooper aka Karim Maas does.

Earlier this year he released a mini LP alongside long-time collaborator Stave released on Standards & Practices entitled Into Eternity.
