Simon Shreeve is a British electronic music producer and label owner. He established the Kryptic Minds project in 1999, followed by his sole founding of Defcom Records in 2001 and the launch of his Osiris Music imprint in 2006.

During a twelve-year hiatus from recording as Kryptic Minds, Shreeve focused on his experimental music alias, Mønic Under this name, he produced five studio albums and multiple singles, including writing and production work for Mute Records and solo releases for Tresor Records. This era also included a close studio partnership with Regis (Karl O'Connor), recording together as the duo CUB.

Following his work as Mønic, Shreeve’s production career expanded across definitive electronic labels. He co-wrote and produced material for the collective Sandwell District on their *End Beginnings* LP, released via Play It Again Sam, which entered the UK National Album Charts. His additional works include solo releases for Downwards Records under his own name, and collaborations with the artist Burial. He also established the Future Materials project, which featured reworks from Scorn (Mick Harris).

In 2026, Shreeve returned to recording as Kryptic Minds. The project's legacy and future operations are now consolidated under his exclusive creative control and registered UK trademark, centralised through Osiris Music.
