Since 1994, Sónar has been much more than just a music festival. What started in Barcelona with electronic and experimental music is now something much bigger.

As the festival enters the fourth decade, it is still exploring every corner of music from every corner of the globe, and still trying to document and understand what it is that drives us to create and innovate.
