About

Holysseus Fly is unapologetically embracing her pop star dreams on her own terms, a genre-defying artist creating unique pop infused with soul, electronic, ’80s and dance influences. With bold showwomanship and raw emotional intimacy, Fly is laying her own path and, as championed by The Guardian is truly "One to Watch".

Delivering choruses that rise like thunder, the 2023 debut solo EP 'Birthpool' delivered heartfelt lyrics that not only embraced her audience, but welcomed them into her journey of personal and creative reclamation, following her recovery from breast cancer in 2021.

In 2024 the follow up single Out Of This World “pushed this striking sound further” (The Guardian). She opened for Nick Mulvey on a sold-out UK tour. Fly then completed an artist residency at the prestigious Snape Maltings developing her live show with Ali Staton (Madonna). She won audiences with her Glastonbury debut, and Forwards Festival sharing alongside CMAT and Jessie Ware.

Her 2025 EP "A Red Sea" saw her reach new audiences, landing on Amazon Music’s global Breakthrough Electronic playlist and NME’s New Bangers, alongside continued support from BBC Radio 6 Music, where Laverne described the title track as “flipping gorgeous”. Fly also completed her biggest UK headline tour to date and held a creative residency at Bristol Beacon.

Momentum has continued into 2026. Fly joined RAYE for the opening two nights of her London O2 Arena residency in the AMEX Lounge, and recorded a live session at Real World Studios for Saffron Records. This summer 2026 has seen her take her immersive live show to key UK festivals including Shambala, Boardmasters, Stowaway and Vegan Camp Out. She is now developing her strongest work yet, recording her debut album between home and Real World Studios and Bristol Beacon, with a forthcoming Focusrite partnership and the album set for Autumn 2027.
