HLRTY

HLRTY is a Palermo-born DJ and producer based in Bologna, co-founder of the *asterisco collective. His sound can’t be boxed into a single genre: both his DJ sets and productions are a juicy, bouncy journey, driven by heavy drums and club pressure, built to make bodies move and floors shake.

After coming up as a DJ with the DNB Attack crew in Palermo in 2016, HLRTY began refining his production skills from 2018 onwards, shaping his sound through constant experimentation and a strong club-focused approach. In 2023 he released “Like This” on *asterisco, quickly gaining attention and support from artists such as Coido and Hassan Abou Alam. He followed up with an EP on Burro Studio, making waves in the Milan scene, before landing on Pineapple Records, where his release received strong and widespread support across the global bass circuit. Also on Pineapple, he dropped “Odiso”, a high-impact collaboration with COIDO, while “Sciankato” on *asterisco further showcased his raw, energetic and bouncy sound.

His music is supported by artists such as Thys (Noisia), Piezo, Sam Binga, Hodge, Ehua, among others, and has been featured on influential platforms like The Lot Radio (Brooklyn), SWU FM (Bristol) and Rinse FM (London). Constantly in the studio and always pushing forward, HLRTY stands out as a high-level newcomer and a clear one to watch—locked in, hungry, and ready to shake the scene.
