Ed Gillett

A journalist and author from South London, who's spent a decade writing about politics and music for the Guardian, Resident Advisor, Novara Media, DJ Mag, i-D, and The Quietus amongst many others, Ed is one of the most vital voices examining today's underground club cultures, and connecting them back to their historic roots.

Ed's highly-acclaimed debut nonfiction book, “Party Lines: Dance Music And The Making Of Modern Britain” was published by Picador in 2023, while his research and production experience includes the music and factual series "Four To The Floor" for Channel 4 and Jeremy Deller's award-winning documentary "Everybody In The Place" for the BBC.
