DJ Bone

A celebration of authenticity and craft, DJ Bone Goes FURTHER is about music that moves you. Not because it’s hyped, but because it’s real. No theatrics, just a deep connection to the art of DJing and the spirit of the underground.

About

Underground is about freedom - about choosing what truly moves you rather than having it dictated to you. It’s about authenticity, not illusion nor delusion; about talent, not hype. The underground thrives in the shadows, yet its impact is undeniable. It doesn’t seek validation through mainstream exposure or constant media presence; it exists with purpose, not just for entertainment. True underground artists aren’t in the spotlight every week, nor their faces plastered everywhere - they are the architects behind the movement, the unseen forces that set things in motion. DJ Bone is and will always be, underground.

It’s no accident that two letters always precede Bone’s name. First and foremost, DJ Bone is exactly that - a DJ in the purest, most authentic sense. When he steps behind the decks, the turntables and mixer become an extension of his very being, a conduit through which he channels raw energy, unfiltered passion, and absolute mastery.

He doesn’t just play records; he commands them. Every technique in the DJ’s arsenal is at his fingertips - flawless blending, precision scratching, back-spinning, and fader wizardry, often without the need for monitors or headphones. His skill is second to none, and his sets are a testament to decades of dedication to the craft.

Whether it’s a legendary residency, an intimate after-hours session, or a packed-out main stage, DJ Bone plays each set like it’s his last - holding nothing back, leaving no soul untouched, and proving time and time again why his name is synonymous with the underground.

What the general public - and far too many DJs - fail to realize is that DJ Bone doesn’t just DJ for the crowd; he DJs for himself. It’s not a performance. It’s not an act. It’s a compulsion, a necessity, a force woven into the very fabric of his being. For those who live and breathe their craft, no explanation is needed. For those who don’t, no explanation will ever suffice.

DJ Bone lives to spin - it’s as essential to him as air. His dedication to the art of DJing is untainted, uncompromising, and absolute. And it’s this purity of purpose that continues to separate and elevate him to even higher levels of respect and credibility acknowledged by many of his ‘Big Name’ peers. No gimmicks. No trends. Just raw, relentless passion and an unmatched ability to create a vibe others can only dream of. That’s why he’s one of the few true spin masters that other DJs loath to follow.

DJ Bone knew he was meant for this life from the start. As a kid, he rigged an all-in-one stereo in order to create what he calls “pause-button remixes” often with overdub scratching onto cassette tapes. He practiced on any and every turntable he could find, devouring MUSIC - not just genres. And then, he found techno. That was the moment everything clicked. That was the moment he knew.

To some, he’s the champion of the underground. To others, he’s an electrifying revelation - the kind of DJ that makes you turn to the person dancing like crazy next to you and ask, “Where did THIS guy come from?”

DJ Bone may not be the first name that comes to mind when Detroit Techno is mentioned - not because he lacks influence or skill, but because he has chosen a path of absolute independence, ignited in Detroit but spread way beyond the city’s borders. In a world where many chase fame and conform to industry norms, Bone refuses to compromise. He won’t mold himself to fit the mainstream DJ archetype. He doesn’t seek validation through rankings, awards, or hype. Those who know, know - Bone stands apart because of his relentless innovation, his authenticity, and his refusal to follow trends.

"If the gig is set up with the music as the main focus (as it should be), then I have total control over the vibe. That’s my duty. I’m not consistently worried about having a production going on or special effects with video images, smoke, etc. Just playing the best possible music as well as I can. I feel the need to constantly progress skill-wise, and I feel my four-deck sets are truly unique. Many DJs have four decks in front of them, but how often do they actually have three or four records playing all at once - with the levels up without the aid of a sync button or quantizing?"

DJ Bone doesn’t rely on spectacle - no theatrics, no gimmicks, no distractions. Just pure, unfiltered music. His three-deck mastery is not for show; it’s for the experience. It’s about pushing boundaries, challenging expectations, and delivering sets that are unlike anything else. While others focus on branding, DJ Bone remains committed to his craft, proving that true artistry doesn’t need an entourage - it just needs the right hands on the decks.
