Braiden

About

Braiden is a DJ, producer and visual artist whose work has come from the heart of London’s club scene

Since his early days as a DJ - where his technical yet rugged sets fused percussive techno, electro and hybrid UK sounds with an encyclopedic crate-digging approach - Braiden has remained dedicated to showcasing and creating music that balances physical rhythm with evocative atmosphere. His previous productions, including releases on Joy Orbison's Doldrums label and Rush Hour, as well as remixes for SBTRKT and Jacques Greene, reflect a meticulous attention to emotional and physical impact on the dancefloor.

A central figure in London’s post-dubstep era, known for technical mixing and blending of genres within and beyond the scene around him, he earned his stripes through residencies at FWD’s Plastic People nights as well as Rinse FM, NTS, and the Red Bull Music Academy, and bookings that saw him play at dozens of cities around the world with sets at Plastic People, Fabric, Sonar Festival, Dekmantel and many more.

In recent years, Braiden took a step back from public performances to focus on developing a substantial new body of work, drawing on fresh inspirations and perspectives. In 2025 his Raindance EP, released on his own label Off Out, marked the first glimpse into this pivotal new chapter, drawing from the core DNA of the UK underground, whilst feeling contemporary and wholly untethered to nostalgia.
