Basics Records, run by Sideshow, is an independent jungle drum & bass label focused on deep beats and heavy drum workouts. Nominated as DJ Mag’s Breakthrough Label of 2026, Basics has been at the forefront of the underground, consistently pushing boundaries and setting standards for the scene. Originally centred on lathe-cut dubplate releases, the label has now stepped up to full vinyl pressings for the foreseeable future.
