DJ Sprinter

Hailing from Oslo, DJ Sprinter steps forward with a striking new single on Rinse.

‘Moving’ bridges eras without losing its footing. Rooted in the intricate rhythms of break-influenced production, the track showcases a sharp, detail-oriented approach to arrangement, where every cut, switch, and syncopation feels deliberate yet fluid.

There’s a clear reverence for the foundations of break, but this isn’t nostalgia.

Instead, it’s a forward-facing reinterpretation; pushing familiar textures into new territory through a distinctive sonic palette. Crisp percussion, unconventional transitions, and controlled unpredictability give the track its identity, balancing raw energy with refined precision.

On the B-side, ‘Lantern’ sees DJ Sprinter further refine his distinctive sonic palette, pairing his signature approach to drum hits with an eerie, rumbling bassline that looms throughout. Tense, atmospheric and unmistakably his own, the track showcases Sprinter’s ability to push rhythm into unexpected territory, reaffirming his position as one of the most exciting producers in electronic music right now.

With this release, DJ Sprinter positions himself as both a student of the past and a designer of what comes next; honoring the roots while reshaping the future in their own unmistakable voice.
