This Saturday’s TOYS Berlin episode brings fresh heat and deep vinyl devotion. In the first hour, TOYS resident ASA 808 opens the show with a carefully curated selection of the best brand new and unreleased club cuts – expect ravey leftfield house, cheeky grooves, and future dancefloor gems that haven’t even properly landed yet.

In the second hour, we’re honored to host a very special vinyl-only guest mix by Session Victim. The Berlin-based duo – one of Germany’s most beloved house acts – dig deep into their record bags for a warm, dusty journey through soulful grooves, blissed-out rhythms, and late-night club energy. It’s the kind of mix that reminds you why vinyl culture still hits different.

The timing couldn’t be better: Session Victim have just released Sidequests Trilogy on Delusions Of Grandeur, a beautiful limited triple-vinyl box bringing together their Sidequests Chapters 1–3. Across these records, Hauke Freer and Matthias Reiling show exactly why they’ve become such respected architects of modern house – balancing sample-heavy downtempo bliss with floor-ready grooves, always rich, musical, and unmistakably Session Victim.

And if you like what you hear: you can catch them live at the TOYS takeover at Immergut Festival this year on May 29th, where they’ll bring one of their legendary live sets to the stage. If you know, you know: pure zone activation.

Two hours of fresh discoveries, vinyl love, and timeless house energy—tune in and enjoy the ride. 💅🔥

Session Victim demonstrate a charming disregard for the boundaries of house music, and unleash an unparalleled energy in their intense live shows and behind the turntables.
Session Victim are one of Germanys most prolific and accomplished house music production duos today. They are deeply embedded in vinyl culture and hold a considerable number of pinball highscores in and around Berlin.

As composers, Hauke Freer and Matthias Reiling have been building an unmatched body of work over the last decade, most notably three genre definingtriple LPs on the british dance music connoisseur label Delusions of Grandeur, the highly acclaimed downbeat concept album 'Needledrop' for the beloved Late Night Tales/ Night Time Stories record label as well as more than twenty EPs on vinyl-only imprints like Retreat, XK, or Pen & Paper, and most recently the highly acclaimed EPs "Basic Instinct" on Rhythm Section and "The Intangibles" back on Delusions Of Grandeur again, featuring the massively rinsed dancefloor tunes "Trying To Make It Home" and "Motivation" respectively.

There's a devotion and passion about the self proclaimed Two Man House Band and their quest for getting themselves and everyone else into "the zone" that is simply as exciting as it is rarely seen today.
