with Dan Moore

As a performer, Dan plays electric and acoustic piano, synthesizers, and Hammond organ. Most recently, he played piano on the new single by Massive Attack featuring Tom Waits - Boots On The Ground. He has worked extensively across film, television, studio, and live performance with artists including Damon Albarn, Adrian Utley, Krust, Ethan Johns, Dom Monks, Andy Sheppard, Paraorchestra, Seb Rochford, Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, Beth Orton, and Tony Allen. He co-wrote material for Will Young and has contributed to numerous recording sessions spanning jazz, pop, and experimental music.

His keyboard work appears in scores for Earth Moods (Neil Davidge, Disney/National Geographic), The Outlaws (BBC), The Fear Index (Sky), and Criminal Record (Apple).

His compositional practice explores the relationship between place, technology, and memory. Recent projects include Kielder Water Music, a sonic meditation on landscape, engineering, and displacement recorded in and around Northumberland's Kielder Water reservoir.

He is a long term member of the Will Gregory Moog Ensemble, which has performed at the Philharmonie de Paris, the Royal Albert Hall for BBC Proms, and Sydney Opera House with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Dan is also a member of Modulus III, an improvisational group whose debut album received praise from Electronic Sound and The Arts Desk, with airplay on BBC 6Music and BBC Radio 3.
