Queer Cult Takeover

Europe-based, US-born, Argentina-nightlife-reared Whitney Weiss is a DJ, producer, Rinse France resident, Chinotto Records founder, and occasional vocalist. Now living between Berlin and an island off western Sicily, Whitney has mostly traded dancefloors for goats and sheep after years of DJ residencies in Paris, London, and Buenos Aires, half a lifetime of DJing all over the northern hemisphere at top queer functions (Buttons, PAT, Savage, The Carry Nation, Dreamhouse / Spectrum to name a few) and repeat performances on NTS, Teki Latex’s French TV show Overdrive Infinity, and Ibiza Sonica Radio. A shift to production and songwriting resulted in releases on Nervous, Cómeme, Major Records, Sorry Records, and Maximum Airtime. Their monthly show, It’s Whitney, Bitch, has been on Rinse France since 2016, two years after Whitney first DJed at the station’s original location in Paris.
