This mix is inspired by that dreamlike state you can sometimes fall into at a club—when you're both immersed in the music and drifting through your own thoughts. I tried to reflect that with a loose narrative: starting in a hazy, dreamy space, moving through some rap and bass-heavy club tracks, and then easing back into something more euphoric and lyrical by the end. It’s not strictly linear—more like a wandering daydream, the way our minds tend to be. Genres covered include ambient, rap, grime, dubstep, and more...

Etymologically, it's a reference to the very long stories in which listeners end up falling asleep from boredom. Navigating between dreams and reality, Dormir Debout is a declaration to the night, its stories, its tales, its whispers. Like club walls, bodies recall sensations, nightmarish visions or even heartbreaks. These moments we express when no one hears. Every first Tuesday of the month, immerse yourself in the story of an umpteenth night or an umpteenth echo.

Small Crab is a Dublin-based electronic music producer, drummer, and DJ whose work
orbits around rhythm, weight, and texture. With deep roots in bass music and
percussive-driven club sounds, her sets and productions channel dubby, low-end-heavy
atmospheres shaped by a love for UK bass, techno, and experimental sound design.
Drawing from her background as a drummer and a long-standing curiosity for sonic
structure, she crafts music that explores tension and release—favoring tactile grooves,
unusual rhythmic patterns, and immersive, bass-rich worlds. Her sound moves with
intention: meditative yet physical, detailed yet direct.

Small Crab has brought her genre-shifting sets to clubs and underground venues across
Europe, with performances in cities like Berlin, London, Paris, Milan, and Tokyo. Her
releases have appeared on labels such as Scuffed Recordings, Left, Right & Centre, Paryia,
and Early Reflex, and have been spotlighted by Mixmag, DJ Mag, and Resident Advisor.
She was also part of Skin & Blister, a Dublin-based collective supporting women and gender
minorities in the arts through workshops, showcases, and community-led
programming—work that continues to inform her approach to collaboration and
space-building within electronic music.

Whether on a dancefloor or in the studio, Small Crab’s sound is rooted in feeling: resonant,
raw, and rhythmically alive.
