The Concept

A tightly mixed set featuring 15 UK Funky tracks, all produced by Wilfy D.

The music will span the full spectrum of Wilfy D’s UK Funky catalogue, including:

Mixed live by Marcus Nasty, with Mic Man Frost and Dizzle Kid delivering live MC performances throughout, creating a seamless, high-energy showcase of Wilfy D’s productions.

Although branded as The Nasty Bros vs Wilfy D, the concept is a collaboration rather than a battle—bringing together one of UK Funky’s most respected producers with one of the scene’s most established DJ and MC collectives.

Marcus Damon

Marcus Damon is a London-based DJ, producer, sound engineer, sound designer and artist whose musical journey spans more than 15 years. His sound is rooted in London’s rich underground music and soundsystem culture, combining influences from UK Funky, House, Garage, R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, Afro House and Amapiano.

Marcus began DJing at just 10 years old after receiving his first DJ setup from his mother. His early musical education took him through R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz, Dancehall, Reggae, Garage and House before he moved into vinyl and began developing his skills within London’s underground scene. As a teenager, he was already involved with pirate radio, including Heat FM, during the height of the UK Funky movement. (NKC Productions)

Alongside DJing, Marcus began producing music during secondary school, learning Cubase and developing his production skills through experimentation and hands-on experience. He later studied Music Technology at the University of West London, expanding his knowledge of recording, sound design, mixing and mastering. His experience has also included working with students and aspiring musicians through DJ and music-production education. (LinkedIn)

Marcus’ production style is deliberately difficult to place in one genre. His music is known for its melodic, soulful and atmospheric qualities, combined with deep basslines, rhythmic percussion and club-focused grooves. His Amapiano-influenced productions have become a particularly important part of his recent sound, while continuing to draw on his foundations in UK electronic music. (NKC Productions)

His breakthrough period came around 2019, following releases including “Pussy Fairy” and “Momentum”, which helped introduce his music to a wider underground audience and receive radio support. He subsequently developed his own musical identity through releases on labels and platforms including Housupa, Club Djembe and Damonised Music. (NKC Productions)

Marcus founded Damonised Music, his own platform and brand through which he has released a growing catalogue of EPs, albums and singles. His catalogue includes projects such as The Paradise House, True Sounds of House, The Darkside and Hypnosis, alongside numerous singles, remixes and collaborations. (Marcus Damon)
