Over the past few years, Jerrau has carved a very singular path within the Dutch electronic music landscape. Selecting and mixing music to make people dance is a craft that becomes an art once it enables shifting dancers' perspectives. Jerrau is an artist, whose collection of sounds is as surprising as entertaining and energy behind the booth as infectious as it is graceful.

Navigating between percussive grooves, bass heavy cuts and deeper escapes with ease and flow, the Dutch-Surinamese selector keeps on adding memorable performances to his portfolio. Whether it is at Horst Arts & Music Festival, Dekmantel, Club Raum or Garage Noord, Jerrau constantly offers glimpses of his library and shades of his colorful palette, never compromising
on his influences and inspirations. It is during long musical outings that his full musical self is best expressed, taking dancers through nights where sounds collide and culture is explored. His Lowlands 2024 highlight festival sunrise closing set is a testament of this, reaching full connection with the floor and creating a moment and memory out of time.

Jerrau has been offering his platform to many other artists. Running a monthly radio show on Radio Radio and curating bold and open-minded club programs, he creates avenues for both local and international acts that audiences are yet to experience. It is a very natural step for a dj whose creative process is fueled by artistic curiosity and anchored within a constantly evolving ecosystem. After conquering the ears and hearts of so many dancers across the country, Jerrau has been exporting his music and energy beyond with showcases at UK’s Floorless Festival and
Barcelona’s club Razzmatazz. As he continues to experiment with rhythms and sounds, he keeps on reinventing himself while building bridges between shifting generations of dancers.
