This month on Infernal Sounds, we head across the globe to Aotearoa, welcoming Oski, hailing from Wānaka.

Running with crews Magnetic Low and Tubs Audio, Oski has been pushing dubstep and bass music further through the New Zealand landscape, carving out his own space within the scene with a sound that balances weight and warmth. Expect heavy drums, clean and spacious dubstep soundscapes, and influences drawn from hip hop and reggae, all woven together into a deep, melodic and distinctly vibey sound.

We linked up with Oski at Outlook Festival this year, and it was immediately clear that he’s someone who radiates a genuine warmth through both his music and his persona. That energy comes through in this incoming mix; a journey through the sounds and influences that make up his take on dubstep, bringing a little piece of Aotearoa to SWU FM.
