with Pily

Eksish invites US based Pily who treats us to a live recording from Brooklyn, New York, recorded last Saturday.

As a fully immersive curator of sound with over a decade of experience, Pily’s journey began at a young age while nose diving into the world of melodies and rhythms. She was introduced to the art of dj-ing, crate digging and musical history by a good friend. Her musical palette knows no boundaries, seamlessly blending elements of acid house, break beats, Italo Disco, and electro to create a sonic soundscape.
Recently, Pily released with TCR002 edits of Locomia and her first EP with Partisan Sub Label, Parti Pillz: Orca EP

Drawing inspiration from an eclectic array of artists, Pily's musical tastes are as diverse as they are dynamic. Influenced by the likes of Psychic TV, Deee-lite, Peaches, Freaky Chakra, and iconic acts such as Depeche Mode and Cabaret Voltaire, her soundscapes resonate with a blend of nostalgia, innovation, and raw energy.

The mix included is from a recent set played at TBA in Brooklyn NY during the most recent Reference party.

From smooth and classy wigged-out minimal, to restricted techno, electro and deep club weapons, Eksish will explore the landscapes of the strange, the groovy and the deep. With an insatiable passion for unearthing hidden gems, and an ear for new innovative rhythms, Eksish guides you through the labyrinthine depths of club culture, shining a spotlight on producers who push boundaries and challenge conventions.
