Holly Lester is a champion of the underground, the Robin Hood of the NI music scene. Her label Duality Trax is a staple of the prog house world and her DJ sets have been broadcast far and wide. If being a world class DJ and label boss wasn't enough, she is also working to reform nightlife and licensing laws in the North of Ireland through her organisation Free The Night. Holly has supported and guided me personally throughout my career. It is an honour to have her on the show.

Holly Lester is a DJ, producer and label runner based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. First rising to prominence as a resident of English clubbing institutions Chibuku Shake Shake (Liverpool) and The Warehouse Project (Manchester), her unique approach to modern day house and techno has taken her as far as Australia, Indonesia and Canada, with regular sets in hotspots like London and Berlin along the way. A regular fixture at Belfast’s AVA festival, it was here that she recorded her Boiler Room set in 2018, a moment that would lead to DJ Mag and The Guardian citing her as a star on the rise.

Her evolution as music curator saw her begin her own record label Duality Trax in 2020, with 2022 seeing the launch of her second label Terrazzo, co-founded with like minded artist Steffan Todorović. Off the dancefloor, she has become heavily involved in campaigning for Northern Irish nightlife; co-founding Free The Night in 2021 with Boyd Sleator, the pair have been working tirelessly to change the landscape of NI nightlife for the better.
